"Our first attempt with the 2700K color -- 3 replacements for a bathroom. The four LR6Cs were excellent in our kitchen (with s/steel appliances), replacing 90-watt PAR38s and seeming brighter because of the spectral characteristics of the light. This is a fully mature product. For our highest-use areas we calculate payback at 2 3/4 years, but the pure quality of light produced would be worth 3X the price. Forget about CFLs and ditch your dinosaur incandescent bulbs. These lights reintroduce vibrant natural colors you haven't seen at night -- it's like "stopping smoking for your eyes"."

"I had about 20 CFLs in my can lights and I was replacing about two per month. In addition, in the winter they had to warm up, and the light color wasn't the best. I switched ALL the lights to these and they are fantastic. Instant on, dimmable to maybe 35%, and perfect color temperature. I've had several parties and when I tell people these are not incandescent lights, they're shocked. I couldn't find them any where cheaper then here on Direct Buy Lighting - what a great price, especially when you consider they last 20 years and you'll likely never need to replace one, they are worth it. I measured their power at about 9 Watts and they are brighter than the 15 W CFL they replace. These are the future."
